MenDan Thermal Hotel**** & Aqualand wellness hotel is located in the centre of Zalakaros. The hotel offers 160 rooms and suits close beside the thermal bath of the town.

Aqualand - our bath complex – gives you unforgettable experience with its 4 pools, featuring 300 m2 surface of water altogether. Moreover in the pool area you may find our sauna park with Finnish sauna, biosauna, steam cabin, diving pool, adventurous shower-baths – unique in Hungary – and a tropical relaxation room. You may admire the beautiful view of Zalakaros and its surroundings from our panorama terrace and sun lounge.

The „water world”, which worth visiting! The freshly built bath complex of our wellness hotel presents total recreation and pleasant entertainment for every member of the family.

It is said that the word „Spa” has several origins, one say that the word comes from the Latin language: „sanus per aquam" meaning „ health received from water” while others say it refers to the Belgian Spa pleasure resort but it is also possible that it is the abbreviation of the English word „sparkling”. Maybe all are correct. It is a fact that nowadays treatments based on water, activities for freshness that make you feel good are meant under it and what else could be as much refreshing as traveling and the change of the environment.

Our pools feature 300 m2 of water surface altogether: swimming pool (26 - 28 °C), adventure pool with water stunts (33 °C), thermal baths (36 - 38 °C), Jacuzzi. From spring till autumn you can enjoy the sunshine and the view on our sun lounge and panorama terrace.

Halls can be opened together so they are suitable for smaller and bigger programs. Our restaurants, Café Shop and coffee brakes provide for the full catering of our guests. If requested we organize colorful programs for the participants. After the program the participants can relax in our Aqualand or we may pamper then in our beauty farm of therapy section.

Golf:

Realistic golf experience independently from the weather…

Programs of the golf simulator provide diversified possibilities for players, for beginners and of course for professional golf players too. This golf experience is very expressive and spectacular with audiovisual effects (every living factor is adjustable in the program, from the swinging flag, to bird twitter, water reflection etc, every strike is very precise and realistic, ball bounce back from trees, splash into the water, spin in the grass, hit the flag pole).

In the world of Golf many recognized trainer with trainees use the Golf simulator with a specially assigned training and practice program in favor of easy attainment. This beloved program makes it possible for students and trainees to learn the different strike types so becomes every practice entertaining.

There are 50 realistic golf courts available of the world most famous, beautiful and of course difficult golf courts. The program does not forget about beginners too, there are many fictional courts with different level of difficulty. This is how the program becomes tailor-made for the players with different skills.

Technical background
Regarding the technical background the infrared „ball tracing” system is unique in the world. With the assistance of the high quality computer in connection with the already hit ball every data is available. The ball flies through the infrared gate after had been hit and band into the projected screen (canvas). From that moment the simulator takes control – with a very short delay of a wink – until the ball stops.

Price: 1 hour rental (1 Token) costs 2.500,- HUF. (Available at the hotel reception desk). The price contains the usage of golf club (right handed, male golf club).
